Fabulous RARE 1940's Coro Sterling Moth/Dragonfly/Butterfly Brooch

A wonderful and rare CORO STERLING brooch estimated to date from the mid to late 1940's. It is similar in construction and design to pieces in the 1946 Menagerie series, and possibly originates from the Canadian Menagerie collection. The brooch is a stylized winged insect (most likely a moth) with large filigree wings. The sterling silver has a gold vermeil finish. A fabulous addition to any vintage collection!
